A picture I did for St. Patrick's day. It was really just an excuse to draw Celso dressed like a Leprechaun. I also wanted to experiment with Prismacolor pencils, an I use a little bit of white gouache for some of the little shines in her eyes. I chose her because, well, she's Irish. It looks great in person, but, like I said, My scanner hates me.
Prismacolor pencils and white goauche on cardstock.
I wanna see this in person apparently, because I think it looks great digitally! I have to say I am very jealous of you line art, the clean edges and precise strokes are basically professional level. *drool*
Really? You think so? I always thought my lineart sucks! The problem with this version is that the colors don't look as rich and vibrant as they do in the physical version. When I scan something in, it tends to make the coloring look washed out and rough, so I have to edit it in photoshop to make it look as much like the original as I can.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
